Twice the Spice Almond Chai Tea

It's a cold, snowy day here and the buzz of the Christmas season is dwindling down as we approach the New Year.  I wanted to snuggle up with a hot cup of tea but I thought I'd spice things up a bit.  This chai tea was the perfect solution!
This chai has twice the spice and is twice as nice with the help of Sweet'N Low® granulated sugar substitute.  The thing I like about Sweet'N Low® is that it quickly and easily dissolves in hot or cold liquids - making sweet & smooth drinks.  I also used almond milk to add a creamy, nutty flavor to the tea.

As a part of the DailyBuzz Food Tastemaker program, I received a stipend and free samples from Sweet'N Low®. Thoughts and opinions are my own.

Twice the Spice Almond Chai Tea
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup almond milk
2 spiced chai tea bags (or plain black tea)
1 packet Sweet’N Low® granulated sugar substitute

Directions:
Place water and spices in small saucepan and bring to a boil. Add almond milk and return to boil. Add teabags, remove from heat and cover. Let steep for 5 minutes and strain through fine mesh strainer. Add Sweet'N Low® and stir to mix. Serve hot or chilled over ice.
