Spicy Mediterranean Burgers with Spinach Artichoke Hummus
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 Tbs. crushed red pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Fresh ground pepper & salt to taste
Multi-grain Ciabatta Buns
Sabra Spinach Artichoke Hummus
Fresh tomatoes, sliced
Red onion, sliced
Feta cheese
Jalapenos
Directions:
Combine beef, spices, lemon juice and salt and pepper in medium bowl. Patty the burgers and grill on charcoal or gas grill until brown on both sides and cooked through, still slightly pink (or until desired) - about 10-12 minutes. Spread hummus on one side of bun. Top burger with tomato, onion, feta cheese and jalapenos. Top additionally with spicy mustard or ketchup if desired. Enjoy!
